Bispecific antibodies

A new format has been designed to obtain a bispecific antibody :

  • bivalent for each of its specificities,
  • with a functional Fc domain,
  • 100% human,
  • in a generic format (applicable to any antibody pair).

New bispecific antibody format consisting of a full antibody (mAb1) linked to a Fab’2 (mAb2)

This format consists of a Fab’2 (mAb2) linked via a specific linker to a full antibody (mAb1). This antibody has a single heavy chain but two light chains. In order for each light chain to pair with its respective heavy chain domain, mutations have been introduced in the constant regions of mAb1.
